What to expect:
Progress in moving forward, not a big leap but it’s further than we were
Alrighty! First official update since our restructuring. Let’s dive into where we were, where we are at now, and where we expect to go!
Where we were:
At the time of our last update (8/21), our finalized master was cut and was in route to Quality Record Pressings for 3-step plating. We received confirmation that the lacquers arrived safely on 8/24 with the records leaving 8/27. Meaning that as of the 27th, the metal father & mother were shipped to GGR where, they will make a stamper for Clampdown.
Where we are at:
We reached out to Gotta Groove to confirm that they received it, we received confirmation yesterday (9/3) that they have the stampers! We are actively communicating with all parties involved to ensure proper handling & smooth transitions from plant to plant.
Where we should be by October 2 (The second first-friday update):
By that point, we should either have received our run of test pressings or we should be receiving them! If this is the case, we should confirm and have the clampdown variants IN HAND & READY TO SHIP by December 2026. If we can aim to have these in hand sooner, we can expedite it. Keep in mind though, this is not a guarantee. This is still a rough estimate. Vinyl production takes time & effort and while we do want to get this in your hand, we would rather ship out a late, well-sounding product than an on time & disappointing one. You paid a pretty penny and we aim to give you that value & more. All updates & estimates will be communicated in each update as provided.
This is where we are at. Once again, I want to issue a heartfelt apology for how things were handled previously and I hope this shows the effort we are making to right this situation best we can. We did not want this to take this long, but we recognized where we messed up and we are actively working to fix it. Thank you guys for your patience & support! I cannot wait for you to hear this!
